Your Primary Role
Coveris is a leading international manufacturer of film, flexibles, labels and board packaging solutions. We help to reduce waste and constantly work on new, high performance and sustainable packaging solutions. Our Gainsborough site produces high quality print film solutions for suppliers of packaged food to many of the major supermarkets in the UK.
Your key responsibilities include:
1. Converting Large Master Reels to Smaller Reels as per customer specification & requirements.
2. To set up and operate the slitting machine safely and correctly in order to slit the film to the correct customer specification.
3. Produce QA samples for internal and external checking.
4. Follow and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and Works Instructions relevant to the department.
5. To adhere with health and safety, and hygiene rules at all times.
6. To fulfil any other duties as may be identified by the Line Manager.
7. Ensuring that quality product is produced in a timely manner.
8. Maintaining a tidy and safe working area and machine.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
1. Monday - Friday Working (Seasonal Saturdays paid as overtime apply in May, June & July)
2. We operate an alternating 3 shift rotation consisting of 36 hours days, 36 hours nights and 48 hours mixed days and nights.
3. 12 hour days (6-6) and 12 hour nights (6-6) averaging 40 hours per week.
4. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
