The post holder is accountable for supporting provision for a high quality service to patients, the trust, and its key stakeholders. The post holder will be a professional role model for the staff working within Critical Care Cross site and will act as a resource for the multi-professional team, ensuring at all times that the needs and views of the patient and their families contribute to the development of the service. Actively participate and support in the development of coordinated and comprehensive links throughout the Trust for the management of patients. Support the Professional Lead, General Manager, Head of Nursing, and Service Manager for Critical Care in the development of standards and care pathways for patients. Explore clinical practice, identifying areas for development and planning the appropriate change through a collaborative approach with the senior leadership team. The post holder will have proven experience working in a senior leadership position within Critical Care, demonstrating experience of quality/service improvement, project management, operational leadership, people management, innovative and inspiring leadership, and clinical practice.
