Internal Sales Executive
Our Client is recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive on a permanent basis.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
As a key member of the internal sales team, you will be responsible for cold calling B2B prospects to generate new business opportunities for External Field Sales Managers, working with them to collaboratively secure new business.
Your tasks are as follows:
1. You will be responsible for selling annual subscriptions to our construction intelligence database, with your main role in this sales process being to make quality appointments for the external field sales team to present our databases to potential clients.
2. You will make high volume cold calls to prospective customers, selling the benefits of our product and establishing how it might be useful for their business.
3. Work towards monthly KPIs and objectives set by the manager.
4. Ensure data is cleansed and accurately log all calls on the CRM system.
5. Produce quotes and orders when required and work with the external team to secure that order.
6. Ensure you and the business remain GDPR compliant at all times.
7. Self-source new leads using multiple channels.
8. Participate in any training and take personal responsibility for self-development.
9. Be open to performing other tasks as the manager and business requires.
About you:
The role of Internal Sales Executive is for you if you have the following skills:
1. Minimum 12 months experience in a sales environment, phone, B2B.
2. Volume based prospecting experience.
3. Experience in delivering sales targets.
4. An excellent persuasive telephone manner is essential as is the ability to confidently communicate at all levels.
5. Target driven, passionate about achieving goals and succeeding.
6. You are computer savvy - as you will be expected to accurately use our IT systems to log calls, book appointments, produce quotes/orders, and update spreadsheets.
