Responsibilities:
1. Perform service and maintenance tasks and compile comprehensive reports on observations.
2. Conduct spare parts installation and service inspections following established procedures.
3. Travel for job-related purposes as necessary.
4. Execute investigations and troubleshooting as needed, providing written documentation of findings.
5. Execute installation tasks as required.
6. Perform testing and commissioning of equipment, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed.
7. Maintain safe working practices at all times and adhere to Health & Safety policies.
8. Provide continuous feedback on market conditions for overall business benefit.
9. Conduct all activities in a way that ensures the health and safety of oneself and colleagues.
10. Represent the company on-site with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
11. Foster strong relationships with customers.
12. Contribute to business growth in line with specified targets.
13. Identify opportunities within the customer base for service sales.
14. Develop relationships with prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Commercial Refrigeration experience – 5 years.
2. City & Guilds (2079) F GAS.
3. City & Guilds (2078) Ammonia Safe Handling (beneficial but not required).
4. Ability to follow technical drawings, building plans, and other instructions.
5. Ability to work carefully, methodically and safely.
6. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair refrigeration issues.
7. Competent in basic electrical work.
8. Skilled in brazing techniques.
9. Ability to fabricate and assemble components using hand tools and power tools.
10. Ability to produce service quotations and keep accurate service records.
11. Experience in installing a wide range of refrigeration components.
12. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
