Job Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Finance Team at Cardo. The Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing the organization’s payroll process, ensuring that all employees receive accurate compensation in a timely manner. The role involves processing payroll, maintaining employee records, managing tax calculations, and ensuring compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll Processing
1. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees (hourly, salaried, temporary, etc.).
2. Calculate wages, bonuses, deductions, overtime, commissions, and other compensation elements.
3. Process employee changes, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
Compliance & Tax Filing
1. Ensure payroll complies with local tax regulations and employment laws.
2. Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings, including quarterly and annual reports.
3. Handle any necessary wage garnishments, deductions, or benefits payments.
Record Maintenance
1. Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
2. Generate payroll-related reports for internal and external purposes (e.g., finance audits, tax purposes).
Reporting & Analysis
1. Generate reports on payroll expenses, deductions, and benefits for management.
2. Assist with year-end payroll processing, including tax reporting and reconciliation.
Employee Support
1. Address employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.
2. Ensure all payroll discrepancies are resolved promptly and accurately.
Payroll Systems Management
1. Operate and update payroll software or systems.
2. Assist in selecting, maintaining, and improving payroll systems.
Confidentiality & Security
1. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll information.
2. Ensure data security protocols are adhered to in payroll processing.
Other Administrative Support
1. Provide administrative support to the Finance departments when needed.
2. Assist with audits or external reviews related to payroll and benefits.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
1. At least 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or related administrative role.
2. Experience of using payroll software.
3. Knowledge of SAGE/SAP software.
4. Good IT skills with a working knowledge of Excel.
5. Accuracy and thoroughness in handling payroll data.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines and handle confidential information.
