Thrive Recruitment Group are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Sales and Business Development Executive to work for our client based in Begwary, near Bedford on a permanent basis.

Job Role:
Working as part of the National Sales Team, as an overview your typical duties and responsibilities would include;
Ability to demonstrate excellent levels of customer service for both internal and external customers
Maintain and build satisfactory relationships with customers
Pro-actively selling, maintaining and expanding sales to new and existing customers
Develop market growth through conversion of specifiers, end users to the company's range of products
Maintain efficient sales order entry on all products using existing CRM system
Ensure that all targets (Sales/Call Rate/Meetings) and KPI's are achieved
Engage with end users to provide pull through of products
Assist in the establishment of new product development
Meet with customers where appropriate
Monitor customer activity and report to the MD/Sales Director accordingly
Provide competitor activity information when information comes to handPart of the role will involve being out on the road, so an element of additional hours to core working hours may be required.
Salary:
£30,000-£45,000 DOE

Requirements for the Role:
Excellent Customer Service skills
Excellent Sales and Business Development skills
IT knowledge including MS Office programmes
Knowledge of CRM systems would be ideal but not compulsory
Experience working within a construction, non-mechanical plant and equipment customer service/sales or hire environment would be an advantage but not mandatory
Must be able to demonstrate exemplary customer service and a high level of sales skills
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
This is a fully office based role, no hybrid or remote work is offered.
