Our client is one of the largest construction companies within the UK with internationally-renowned experience in the successful delivery of technically demanding, multi-disciplinary and logistically complex projects.
They now have a requirement within their Highways team for a Carbon Manager on the Lower Thames Crossing project in Kent
Responsibilities
Work with Head of Carbon, Environment and Sustainability (LTC) and the wider RNoT carbon team to deliver the carbon commitments
Manage the development of carbon route map plans and strategies as required by carbon commitments and targets
Deliver the Highways Carbon Management System and Carbon and Energy Management Plan on LTC
Report project carbon management performance to the Highways Head of Carbon
Support the development of carbon management resource & document templates
Design, implement and track carbon training
Embed and support carbon management within a range of project functions and processes where applicable, such as procurement, commercial, plant management & logistics.
Responsibility for project client carbon reporting & deliverables, including baselines, forecasts, progress reporting and carbon accounting where relevant
Provide support and guidance to the project teams on carbon assessment and carbon impacts
Manage and deliver the LTC technical inputs for the Certification to PAS 2080 (maintain evidence, attendance in audits etc.)
