Our client, an accountancy and tax advisory practice company is seeking a Finance Assistant in Winchester. Hybrid working in Winchester. The role Work on the day-to-day financial operations of several companies within the Group Responsibilities Record and post the day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments Compile and submit VAT returns Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts and other financial accounts Supporting with budgeting and forecasting Balance sheet management and reconciliation Prepare draft financial statements, including trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet Required: 1 year UK experience in either practice or industry, at least AAT qualified Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment. Full driving licence, with the flexibility to work at other locations as required. Education : English and Maths GCSEs (or equivalent).
