This is a “Hands On” Operational role, managing teams in different locations, requiring a highly competent and technically qualified operations leader, with substantial multisite industry experience. To ensure all Operational Site Staff, Advisors, Consultants and Trainers are where they need to be and to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
Management Duties
1. Management, task and coordination of Technical Advisors, Consultants, Trainers and all Operational Site Staff to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
2. Oversee the Personal Development Reviews in accordance with Company Policies.
3. Ensure all Operational staff maintain competency and certifications as required.
4. Take a leadership role to ensure the Company’s Health & Safety Policy is fully implemented.
5. Prepare Operational Status reports and presentations.
6. Maintain the companies service delivery plan to ensure all information is accurate.
7. Liaison with Client representatives.
8. Ensure the Company’s Policies & Procedures are adhered to, and provide input for future development.
9. Attend Management Meetings at CFB Risk Management HQ.
Operations
1. Ensure the service delivery requirements for all client contracts and PO’s are achieved.
2. Plan and confirm service delivery arrangements with colleagues and clients to ensure contracts and services are managed and delivered effectively.
3. Management of all CFB Risk Management Operational Assets including Fire Appliances, PPE, Operational Equipment and the storage Inventory.
4. Participate directly in the delivery of services, when required to cover absenteeism.
5. Evaluate and continuously improve service quality.
6. Lead, monitor and support people to resolve operational incidents.
7. Determine solutions to hazards and risks identified through inspection and investigation.
8. Manage and Develop the performance of teams and individuals to achieve objectives.
9. Provide support to the HQ Team and working closely with Managing Director.
10. Complete Risk Assessments & Method Statements for clients site work.
Minimum Requirement:
1. At least 5 years industrial operational experience in a relevant industry setting (O&G, Chemical, Nuclear, Fire Fighting, Alternative Energy within High Tier COMAH Sites).
2. At least 5 years in a Management role of Operational Staff in a relevant industry.
Highly Desirable:
1. Incident Command Qualified.
2. Advanced level HSE Qualifications.
3. ISO Standards experience, implementation, annual reviews.
4. Training Instructor Qualifications.
5. IFE Membership.
6. Fleet Management.
