Position: Day Program Skills Instructor
Location: Positions open in Wakefield, Woburn, or Beverly (MA)
Salary: $18 per hour
Hours: Full time or Part time, Monday-Friday between 8am-4pm

Summary: Teach adaptive daily living skills to individuals with developmental disabilities and enhance their work skills through classroom and community services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Teach adaptive daily living skills to individuals with developmental disabilities
* Enhance work skills within classroom and community settings
* Mentor individuals to enhance independence
* Think creatively to adapt your own interests, such as art, music, and health & fitness, to teach individuals new skills
* Develop and implement curriculum both inside and outside the classroom
* Create and implement Individual Support Plans (ISP)
* Plan and oversee community-based activities
* Assess individual needs, help create teaching programs
* Provide personal care and assistance to individuals as they strive to reach their goals
Qualifications:
* High School diploma is required
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field is preferred
* A passion and dedication to supporting our people
* A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
* Reliable transportation
* Must pass a CORI background check, fingerprinting, and reference check
