As a courier, you will transport pharmacy items, goods, equipment, correspondence, and stores, along with urine, blood, and other bodily fluids, tissue samples between hospitals, health centres, clinics, and GP surgeries across the Trust area.
Due to the nature of the specimens and confidential paperwork carried, and the area covered, it is essential that courier drivers adhere to very tight schedules. You must have a high awareness of the department’s assets, which may be used in carrying out daily duties. Participation in a rota system covering any shift required by management is necessary.
