Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their team on a permanent and full-time contract basis. The role offers a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000, along with a range of additional benefits, including hybrid working (2 days in office, 3 at home).
As part of the role, you will act as an ambassador for the brand, supporting the Head of Department in attracting and maintaining clients, as well as overseeing all client preparations to ensure accuracy, compliance and deadlines are met. You will also be responsible for forecasting and managing workload within your team, providing development opportunities and training to ensure your team grows both in capability and capacity overall.
To be considered for the role, you must be a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant, with experience post qualification, and have worked in a practice environment for at least some of your career. You must also have a good working knowledge of accounting software and CRM systems, an up-to-date knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and GDPR regulations, and a good general knowledge of UK tax legislation.
