We are seeking a Design Engineer with a strong HVAC background to join our dynamic team at EECO2. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, energy-efficient HVAC solutions for our global pharmaceutical and life sciences clients. As a subject matter expert, you will share your knowledge, support the development of innovative designs, and ensure our projects meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Delivery (85%):
* Understanding client needs, possessing knowledge of innovative solutions, and being familiar with the relevant technical information are essential aspects
* Sharing demonstrable knowledge (such as recent used/test cases) both on build and design on a regular basis with the team (a Subject Matter Expert on HVAC systems).
* Supporting the development bespoke solutions and innovative designs to meet client needs aligning with cutting-edge technical approaches.
* Developing expertise on energy efficiency of HVAC systems.
* Working with Engineering KPIs to provide high quality technical work on time
* Applying knowledge in engineering complex GMP-compliant HVAC systems for building services.
* Working on client site to facilitate projects (both nationally and internationally).
* Working closely with the Engineering Team to develop the technical expertise.
* Adopting best practice (technical) to maintain consistency and quality of deliverables
* Supporting the Business's ISO 9001 status for consistent quality delivery.
Business Operations 10%:
* Participating in weekly Engineering Team Management meetings
* Identifying improvement areas across the business.
* Assisting in a culture of innovation and excellence and maintaining EECO2 Global SME status
Supporting Business Growth 5%:
* Collaborating and assisting the business/engineering team to implement short and long-term plans of the business
* Supporting EECO2 Pharma HVAC SME status by maintaining industry leading knowledge related to the Pharma/Lifesciences industry.
* Identifying improvement areas across the business
* Shadowing senior engineering on keynote events on HVAC systems and energy efficiency

The Person
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's/Master's Engineering Degree or related field
* MCIBSE or equivalent (Chartered Institute of Building Services) or IMechE or working towards professional qualification at CEng Level
Experience:
* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical energy systems in buildings.
* Recent experience in HVAC system design and operation.
* Experience in implementation projects including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
* Experience in Pharma/Life Sciences is advantageous.
