Your role Head of Inside Sales You will be working within our International Fuel payments division based out of our new offices in Swindon and will form part of a large multi-site UK Inside Sales team who have continued to grow year on year and deliver exceptional results. In this newly created role, The Head of Inside Sales (Swindon) will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to over-achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. You’ll be part of an award winning and successful sales team. You will be a supportive, nurturing, and strong influencer with excellent sales skills, a deep understanding of inside sales processes, and the ability to drive performance through motivation and management of the inside sales team. You will nurture, lead and always look at making continuous improvements. Our Swindon based sales team consisting of circa 40 FTE love growth, hyper growth and you will be at the beating heart of our continued success in the UK. With a team of inside sales managers reporting to you, you will not only continue their development into exceptional sales managers you will lead the teams and take them to new highs. What you'll be doing About the role and what you’ll be doing Key accountabilities Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet company objectives across multiple locations. Through internal collaboration Analyse market trends and customer insights for growth opportunities. Align sales objectives with overall business goals in collaboration with senior management. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor sales managers and representatives. Provide ongoing coaching and support to motivate and equip sales teams. Foster a culture of accountability, trust, excellence, and continuous improvement. Nurture, encourage, develop and grow team members. Performance Management: Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs for sales teams and individuals. Monitor sales performance and address issues proactively. Conduct regular performance reviews with constructive feedback. Operational Excellence: Coordinate with operations and logistics for seamless sales execution. Optimize processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures for consistency and quality. Skills and experience we’d like you to have. Proven track record of at least 5 years in a sales leadership role, preferably within a fast paced inside sales / virtual sales / telesales environment. Strong understanding of inside sales processes, metrics, and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Builds trust, nurtures team members and encourages performance improvements. Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Experience with Salesforce CRM software and sales analytics tools including tableau or similar would be extremely beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
