About Us
Duchy Hospital is Cornwall’s only private hospital, renowned for delivering high-quality healthcare treatments and services. We focus on providing the best healthcare in a clean and safe environment.
Our hospital offers both private and NHS services to Cornwall and beyond, with high standards of care and customer service. Our positive nurse-to-patient ratio allows staff more time to care.
Services include elective surgeries such as orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, plastics, gynaecology, and ophthalmology, delivered through four laminar flow operating theatres. We also have an Ambulatory Care Unit, an expanding inpatient ward, a new MRI, outpatient services, physiotherapy, and a cardiology service including a cardiac cath lab.
More than just what we do, it’s who we are. We strive to deliver the best care, a principle since our first patients in 1964.
Our culture, “The Ramsay Way,” values our people as our most important asset and has been key to our success.
We support the UK’s Armed Forces and Reservists, holding the Silver Award from the MOD’s Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme, and are committed to supporting the wider Armed Forces community, including staff and patients.
We are dedicated to equality of opportunity. This position is subject to background and DBS checks.
