The Role To prepare new vehicles for certification and customer handover. To undertake a range of basic to complex repairs based on ability. To prepare vehicles for MOT inspection and to undertake the final quality inspection. Complete paperwork and job cards correctly. Providing breakdown cover as a part of a weekly rota. Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with legal or company standards. To always maintain a safe and clean working environment, reporting immediately any deficiencies. About You A fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician holding a recognised motor industry apprenticeship/qualification is essential. Experience working within a busy workshop. Electro/mechanical knowledge relevant to the bus and coach industry is desirable. Proficient in general IT applications, specifically Microsoft Office and a Dealer Management System.
