We're working with an incredibly successful and acquisitive multinational in the search for a Group Finance Manager.
Group Finance Manager - The Role
1. Consolidated Reporting: Oversee the production of monthly consolidated statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Global Accounting: Manage the accounting for UK and Swedish entities, including statutory accounts, monthly reporting, and transaction processing.
3. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to our existing reporting processes, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency.
4. Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to regional finance teams, ensuring compliance with IFRS and best practices.
5. Audit Support: Collaborate with the Group Financial Controller to ensure smooth audits and minimize adjustments.
6. Team Leadership: Develop and mentor our Group Assistant Accountant, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
7. Ad-hoc Projects: Contribute to various ad-hoc projects as needed, demonstrating your versatility and problem-solving skills.
Group Finance Manager - What you'll need
1. Chartered Accountant: either ACA, ACCA or equivalent
2. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IFRS, consolidation accounting, and fair valuation.
3. Experience: Ideally, experience working for a mid-tier or large accounting firm.
4. Skills: Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
5. Systems Proficiency: Knowledge of Tagetik or similar consolidation tools is highly advantageous.
The Package:
1. Salary up to £75,000 depending on experience
2. 10% bonus
