Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Shifts)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team based in the Craigavon Area. The role of the Maintenance Engineer is based at the Portadown site, involving the direct maintenance and care of our wide range of machinery, site maintenance, preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, machine safety, and breakdown fault finding.
The Role:
1. Uphold the highest possible standards of health, safety, environmental, quality, and product compliance.
2. Carry out all necessary quality and safety checks to facilitate a safe working environment.
3. Acceptance and support of all new systems and procedures as they are introduced into the business.
4. Ensure the best and most efficient use of resources.
5. Responsible for all preventative maintenance and scheduled maintenance in roto.
6. Ensure all safety precautions are in place and working at machines.
7. Work closely with the roto team to ensure machines run efficiently and all operatives are kept safe.
8. Available for call out in the event of breakdowns.
9. Liaise with all local engineering companies.
10. Work in cooperation with production to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the manufacturing process.
11. Starting up of all machinery and responding to machinery breakdowns.
12. Overseeing and working closely with outside subcontractors.
13. Provide the maintenance supervisor with all parts in stock.
14. Support production with any tooling issues (breakdowns, failures, or replacement parts).
15. Carry out any other reasonable tasks which may be deemed necessary by Operations Management.
The Person:
1. Electrically qualified (18th edition).
2. Multiple years of experience in engineering and facilities maintenance.
3. Experience in using a CMMS System to record and schedule work.
4. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
5. Practical problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
The Reward: £40,000 - £45,000 + overtime (depending on experience). Strong holidays and benefits package.
