We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Trainer to join our Siemens Mobility Education and Skills (E&S) Training function. Reporting to the Head of Proficiency and Business Partner RI and CS-RI and working closely with the Education and Skills Leadership Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that workforce health and safety standards are effectively integrated into all training materials and programs across Siemens Mobility. As a Senior EHS Trainer, you will lead the development, implementation, and delivery of environmental, health, and safety training for both internal and external clients, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal requirements. Acting as the Subject Matter Expert on EHS topics, you will provide technical expertise and guidance on workforce training. This role requires a strong background in workforce health and safety and a passion for continuous improvement. You will drive Siemens' training initiatives using modern techniques and technology, with a focus on stakeholder engagement to foster a culture of safety. Please note that you are expected to travel to Siemens and Customer sites within the UK in this role and also subjected to a background check, You'll make a difference by: Creating and managing comprehensive EHS training plans, mentoring other trainers, ensuring adherence to legal regulations and industry standards, and continuously improving training delivery. Leading the Development and Execution of the Environmental, Health and Safety Training Strategy. Facilitating Stakeholder Meetings to assess and align on current and future EHS training requirements. Driving Continuous Improvement in EHS training courses, ensuring content is regularly updated for effectiveness and regulatory alignment. Serving as the nominated member for IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health), fostering strong relationships and ensuring compliance. Providing Timely Portfolio Updates to the business, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress and developments. Offering Expertise and Support to team members as needed, ensuring consistency and excellence in training delivery. Providing Guidance and Support to staff within the broader Education and Skills team, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable environment. Representing the Team at Senior Leadership Meetings, contributing insights and updates as necessary to support strategic decision-making. Your Success will be grounded by: NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and a minimum Level 3 City and Guilds Training and Assessment Qualification. Minimum Technical Member of IOSH and IOSH Managing Safely certification. Skills to create training strategies, plan and implement delivery, and review course material in line with regulatory and business requirements. Good presentation, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and attend planning meetings. Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to work on your own initiative as part of a virtual team. Experience in a highly regulated industry and maintaining an up-to-date Continuous Professional Development (CPD) log. It would be advantageous to have: ISO 9001 Internal Auditor. Hold or currently working towards - NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. What else do you need to know?
