Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, particularly with adults and individuals with mental health. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to support the mental health and well-being of clients. The Psychologist will also engage in clinical research to contribute to the advancement of psychological practices.
Duties
1. Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for adults and individuals with mental health.
2. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
3. Provide individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
4. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
5. Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to support the holistic development of clients.
6. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
7. Participate in clinical research projects to enhance understanding of psychological conditions and treatments.
8. Stay updated on the latest developments in psychology and special education.
Requirements
1. Bachelors degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
2. Valid registration with a recognised professional body (e.g., HCPC).
3. Experience working with adults, particularly those with mental health.
4. Strong skills in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients.
5. Familiarity with clinical research methodologies is advantageous.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
8. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
