Technical estimator

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist engineering manufacturer who are looking for a Technical Estimator.

This is a great opportunity to join an established company that has recently received significant investment and entered the next phase of their development.

The Technical Estimator will be responsible for:

* Preparing detailed estimates from sales enquiries
* Considering material usage and the processes involved to manufacture
* Liaising with suppliers and procurement to understand materials pricing and markets
* Assessing manufacturing processes required to ensure cost estimates are accurate and processes efficient
* Supporting project teams and the wider business with cost awareness and management

The Technical Estimator will need:

* Experience of working in a Technical Estimation role in a technical engineering manufacturing environment
* A good understanding of materials, in particular metals and metallurgical processes
* A background and detailed understanding of metals based manufacturing processes
* Good communication skills
* Experience of working to deadlines

This role is a great opportunity for an established technical estimator or someone with relevant cost estimation experience looking to develop in this area.
