About the role As a Presales Consultant you provide technical support for Siemens Capital Integrated Electrical Systems Development product line and directly contribute to the success of a team of product specialists and account managers by increasing the deployment of Capital software. You will help to capture our customers' needs and translate them into a compelling proposition, providing product demonstrations to show the value of our powerful solutions for primarily the automotive & aerospace markets. Area of Responsibility - Delivering expertise in the application(s) of the Capital portfolio, in the form of Presales support to customers throughout the EMEA region. - You will be a Solutions Consultant Engineer specializing in Electrical and Harness Design, understanding and contributing to the strategy of the Capital solution in different markets such as automotive, aerospace & industrial applications. - Assisting clients in the evaluation process, helping sales teams determine strategies by matching our software solutions to the customer's needs through your analysis. Also through to deployment and use of Capital for the design of electrical systems, - Performing demonstrations of the solution and provide technical support to customers, through training and technical problem solving. - Working with product development to communicate the needs of the customer in order for those teams to develop new technology & enhancements to the Capital solution. Your Qualifications & Experience - Degree/or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field - You must have excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as an ability to build relationships with our customers. - Presales experience is not essential, if you are from industry (e.g. Electrical Engineer, Harness Engineer), and you are a selfstarter / sales oriented then please apply. - You will have an ability to communicate with different levels, e.g. project and department leaders as well as to executives / CLevel. - An ability to deliver compelling, well-structured, value-based demonstrations. - Experience with Electrical Design software, such as Capital, Capital Essentials, Saber ES Designer, Zuken E3.series, Vector PREEvision. - Experience with Mechanical CAD products (preferably Siemens NX, CATIA V5, 3DX, SolidEdge or Solidworks) but not essential. - Experience of working within any of these sectors an advantage: Aerospace and Defence, Automotive or Heavy Equipment Why us?
