The Role: As an English Teacher for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students across a range of abilities. You will contribute to the school’s ongoing success in achieving high standards in both English Language and English Literature, encouraging students to develop their critical thinking, writing, and reading skills. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students Creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel motivated and supported Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of students with varied learning abilities Tracking and assessing student progress, providing feedback and interventions where necessary Supporting students in their preparations for GCSE exams Collaborating with other teachers and staff to enhance the English curriculum and school culture The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong subject knowledge in English Language and English Literature Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Passionate about inspiring young learners and promoting a love for literature and language Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students A positive, flexible, and creative approach to teaching Ability to work well as part of a collaborative team Why Work with Us?
