Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Dorchester, Dorset

Pay: Weekly pay (via education agency)
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Dorchester, providing support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a child's learning journey, with the potential for the role to continue into the next academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
* Assist with the development and implementation of tailored learning plans.
* Support the pupil's emotional and social development, encouraging positive interactions.
* Work collaboratively with the class teacher to enhance the pupil's learning experience.
* Foster an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and valued.
* Assist with general classroom duties, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desirable but not essential).
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* A passion for supporting children's development and well-being.
* A DBS check or the willingness to undertake one (if required).
