Description
The Inside Sales Representative will analyze and enter customer orders, quotes and resolve order discrepancies with customers accurately and timely. They will communicate with internal personnel and customers regarding delivery status, expedites, returned product, pricing, etc. to effectively service customers. They will efficiently handle through various selling techniques, sales inquiries, pricing, and availability with the objective of obtaining new business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Responds to customer sales inquiries by telephone, email, or chat to provide problem resolution
2. Resolves complex or unusual requests and problems for a portfolio of customers in a tactful and expeditious manner
3. Quotes standard products within Company’s product mix for current customers
4. Enters orders within ERP system and processes all additional paperwork required
5. Provides updates to other internal teams on customer needs and concerns to achieve sales team’s goals. Attends all necessary calls and meetings to ensure customer satisfaction
6. Understands and supports established sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to customers
Requirements

Education and/or experience
1. 2+ years of experience in a customer service role
2. Associates degree or equivalent combination of experience and product knowledge
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
4. Experience using CRM systems a plus
5. Bilingual speaking with Spanish preferred
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
