About the Sales & Purchasing Business Analyst role: A key position in a small team of dedicated professionals you play a critical role in optimizing the sales and procurement functions within the organization. Your responsibilities revolve around data analysis, proactive selling, product procurement and strategic inventory development, all using your analytical experience and skills to review and refine our customer proposition and product portfolio. Generate reports and dashboards for key stakeholders, providing insights into performance metrics (e.g., sales revenue, procurement costs, inventory turnover). Use your sales skills to develop regular dialog and proactively sell to many of our regular clients and new prospective customers. Develop strong relationships with our current and new suppliers, whilst maintaining and developing our extensive product inventory. Research market trends and competitor activities to provide insights into strategic decisions. Assess pricing strategies and product positioning to improve market competitiveness. What we are looking for in our Sales & Purchasing Business Analyst: A history in a Sales and or Purchasing role (preferably both) in either a junior or senior position with exposure to customer & supplier relationships High level of analytical and problem-solving skills The ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team. Experience working with relational databases using My SQL, Claris Filemaker, Microsoft Access or similar would be an advantage Either a Degree in a Maths, Science or IT related subject, or a foundation of experience within an analytical role with at least a grade B in Maths and Sciences at A level.
