Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) is an integrated provider of acute hospital and community services for people living in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area.

We are looking to grow our small friendly Homecare team with the view to expand our Homecare Service.
You will:
1. Collaborate with our clinical teams, homecare providers and patients to ensure the smooth processing of prescriptions.
2. Assist the team with processing invoices and raising orders.
3. Maintain patient records within the pharmacy database.
4. Have a keen eye for detail and raise queries with the Homecare Team.
5. Assist the Homecare lead with the smooth running of the Homecare Service.
Main duties of the job
1. Raise orders against Homecare prescriptions and ensure they reach the Homecare Provider in time for the first delivery.
2. To process homecare prescriptions/services and invoices through pharmacy systems including JAC, in an accurate and timely manner.
3. Monitor and maintain the pharmacy database in relation to Homecare services.
4. Ensure filing of Homecare paperwork is kept up to date and accurate to allow swift and easy retrieval of records.
5. Raise invoice queries with Homecare providers to ensure correct payments are processed.
6. To assist the High Cost Medicines Technician and the Lead Pharmacist Medicines Optimisation in the smooth running of the Pharmacy Homecare Service.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
* 5 A* - C GCSE's or equivalent
* Microsoft Software Training
EXPERIENCE
* Demonstrable experience of working in a busy office and pressurised environment and managing a diverse workload.
* Good level of experience of IT software such as Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of online ordering and requisitioning systems.
* Update administration systems and implement changes as per departmental requirements.
* Experience of working with confidentially sensitive information.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of people.
* Confident and resilient and able to deal with conflict.
* To be able to demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities and independence.
* Professional appearance, conscientious, reliable.
* Experience with invoice or accounting software.
* Experience of working within a team to complete set tasks.
SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE
* Ability to communicate with all levels of NHS staff, either verbally or in writing (letter or e-mail) in a sensitive and polite manner.
