Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading the sourcing and procurement of materials and goods from international suppliers, ensuring optimal quality, cost, and delivery timelines
2. Negotiating pricing and supplier contracts, fostering strong relationships with vendors
3. Managing a high volume of Purchase Orders with accuracy and efficiency
4. Overseeing the management of product samples, ensuring proper storage, organisation, and dispatching
5. Monitoring critical paths to ensure timely delivery of components and goods, maintaining up-to-date shipping trackers
6. Reviewing and approving packaging artwork for compliance with ingredient lists and safety standards
7. Ensuring accurate data entry into customer portals to facilitate supply chain operations
About You:
1. Proven experience in buying or procurement roles, ideally within a fast-paced FMCG or international sourcing environment
2. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
3. Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
4. Effective multitasking and time management capabilities, thriving under pressure
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
6. A strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, able to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels
7. Knowledge of sourcing from the Far East is highly desirable
8. Full UK Driving Licence (essential due to location)
