JD is undertaking a digital re-platform initiative involving MACH, EDA, and new SaaS providers, focusing on re-architecting our platforms to enable integration and development of bespoke, scalable, and secure technology solutions.
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your domain, you will be a key team member responsible for the operation and integration of specific eCommerce or Order Management capabilities, including technical ownership of the domain and third-party SaaS integrations.
You will collaborate proactively with other teams and third-party providers. Our TPOs and Principal Software Engineers will be vital to the success of our digital technology re-platform and future strategy.
Daily responsibilities include managing your domain's SaaS platforms and configurations, overseeing business projects, small changes, support issues, and ensuring modernization and compliance initiatives align with business and technology priorities. You will work closely with Product and Program Managers, Scrum Masters, BAs, TPO counterparts, engineers, and various operational teams.
You will coordinate the scheduling of digital engineering activities and releases, and produce status and success reports for stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing:
1. Ensuring technical solutions meet business and customer goals, including SaaS platforms and integrations.
2. Ensuring designs meet customer and business needs throughout the product lifecycle.
3. Collaborating with teams to plan, prioritize, and support roadmaps and backlogs, following iterative delivery approaches.
4. Managing work items in JIRA for development and testing teams.
5. Assessing and managing risks to ensure timely delivery of solutions and changes.
What We're Looking For:
1. Hands-on experience in technical product ownership within retail, especially in digital/eCommerce sectors.
2. Experience with the Shopify tech stack.
3. Ability to gather requirements and write clear, concise user stories.
4. Skill in scheduling multiple development activities with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Ability to identify issues or risks quickly and accurately.
6. Solutions-oriented mindset to mitigate risks and set stakeholder expectations.
7. Excellent communication skills, confident in presenting to diverse audiences.
