Our busy Engineering Client require a Parts Advisor to join their team. Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will provide assistance to the customers with regards to their open order books. You will receive and manage orders through internal systems to ensure all customer and departmental needs are met within the required time frame.
Main Duties
* Manage Dealer enquiries through the helpdesk
* Advise on part identification
* Cross-reference parts against BOMS
* Assist in the sourcing of identified parts
* Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers
* Oversee credit investigations
* Partake in customer service calls and identify areas for improvement
* Assist with preparation for new product launch
* Assist with parts-related engineering change orders
Criteria:
* Educated to a minimum of GCSE standard or equivalent, which will include English and Maths at grade C or above
* Experience of working within a busy office environment, ideally in a customer service role
* Ability to organize and prioritize workload using your own initiative to meet deadlines
* Excellent organizational skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to listen well and help resolve customer problems or questions
* Excellent written skills, as most of the work will be written (email, documentation, etc.)
* Experience in the crushing and screening industry would be desirable though not essential
