Mercer is seeking a DC Pensions Consultant to join our specialist team in delivering DC pension services to a large portfolio of clients. Mercer boasts one of the largest fully integrated groups of DC experts in the UK, including governance, scheme design, investment consultants, providers, and technical researchers and technicians.
This growth area is a key strategic focus for Mercer’s UK business, delivering successful pension and savings solutions and creating career opportunities for talented colleagues. Our collaborative team culture fosters growth, new business development, and strong client relationships.
We will count on you to:
1. Attend client meetings to support senior colleagues, assist in preparation, produce meeting papers, and manage actions
2. Assist trustees and sponsors in managing their DC pension arrangements, including clients such as corporate sponsors, trustee boards, and governance committees
3. Serve as the DC governance consultant, promoting our services
4. Support the lead consultant on our largest and most complex clients
5. Review work produced by analysts and junior consultants using Mercer software/tools
What you need to have:
* DC Pensions consulting experience
* Ability to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues, clients, and provider contacts at all levels
* Client relationship management skills
