You'll also play a key role in assurance activities, organising Site Safety Tours, providing insightful advice on the performance review of the Sites Memorandum of Understanding and providing metrics for the sites Safety Health Environmental and Fire Committee. As the health and safety focal point for SDA staff at the DE&S ABW site, you'll ensure seamless cooperation, coordination, communication, and control between SDA ABW staff and DE&S site and Safety Health Environmental and Fire (SHEF) staff, safeguarding the well-being of both organisations. This is a fully site-based role, requiring your presence five days a week, with some flexibility around core hours to support your work-life balance. If you're ready to make a significant impact and grow with us, we want to hear from you What youll be doing Reviewing the SDA site health, safety environmental and fire performance via undertaking internal audits and provide an annual update on compliance with policy arrangements. Managing enquiries and act as focal point on SHEF matters on site, providing advice to stakeholders across the business. Producing site risk assessment, maintain and review/reissue as and when there are significant changes. Assisting in embedding compliance of SHEF legislation and regulations across the site. Providing metrics for performance reporting (Key Performance Indicators) and managing dashboard reporting and risk registers. Assisting in the development of corporate communications in relation to health and SHEF messages. Producing, updating, maintaining site specific Instructions, induction briefs and a web page. Delivering SHEF Induction briefs and recording staff attendance on central SHEF, Training Planning and Monitoring Register. Person specification To be successful with your application, you'll need to show that you meet the following essential criteria : Experience of working in one or more of the following - Safety, Health, Environmental and Fire issues within an organisation. Experience of contracts and contractor management. Experience of facilities management. Evidence of effective stakeholder management at all levels, internal and external.
