We are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant within a fast-paced, people-focused and highly acquisitive organisation, with opportunities to support in transforming the financial operations on a 12 month FTC.
Overview of duties:
* Responsible for reporting financial performance for your business line including the production and reconciliation of monthly management accounts, both P&L and Balance Sheet.
* Assist with all aspects of internal reporting and the month end reporting process into Group ensuring adherence to timetables, financial integrity and completeness.
* Ahead of monthly review meetings with the leadership team, you will provide commentary and insight into all aspects of financial performance.
* Assist with the annual budgeting process within the business unit, providing insight and analysis into the key year on year movements.
* Support and manage the financial control processes across the business.
* Monthly income reporting, reconciliation, and income forecasting.
* Champion continuous process improvements via automation, simplification, centralisation and standardisation to address business needs and build scalability.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
* Well organised and self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
* Good communication skills and ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels.
* Accurate, with an eye for detail and ability to question everything from a financial perspective.
Education / and or Experience:
* Degree level or equivalent educational qualifications.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Proven business partnering skills.
* Experience of working within management accounts.
