JOB TITLE: Guest Relations Executive - The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat

REPORTING TO: Assistant General Manager
LOCATION: The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat
HOURS: 2 days out of 7, example shift pattern 12pm-9pm/11am – 8pm
SALARY: PAYSCALE - Starting £11.47 up to £13.47
About the role:
We are looking to recruit a part-time Guest Relations Executive with excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. The main purpose of this position is to meet guests' needs upon arrival/departure, provide cocktail turndown service, and ensure a comfortable stay by accommodating requests for information and offering assistance as required.
The Position:
The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
* Ensuring customers have been tended to and all necessary information has been gathered to assist their overall guest experience.
* Managing, effectively and efficiently, guest requests and enquiries.
* Maintaining current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and special promotional offers, as well as daily VIP and special events.
* Maximising sales revenues through up-selling.
* Offering a high level of consistent, friendly, and efficient care to all clients and visitors.
* Helping direct guests and assisting with any enquiries.
* Working with the front-of-house team to understand daily operations and ensure the required areas are prepared to facilitate a smooth and timely experience for all clients.
* Aiding guests and visitors in various ways such as assisting with luggage, providing directions & information, and any other activities on a given day.
* Delivering a nightly cocktail turndown service.
* Responding to requests for assistance via our internal system HotSOS.
* Carrying out front and back of house procedures.
The Person:
Applicants must:
* Have previous experience working in a similar role (essential)
* Possess confident IT skills to include Word and Excel.
* Have a good administrative and customer service background with the ability to demonstrate skills in both.
* Be warm, friendly, and energetic with great pride in their overall appearance.
* Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Be able to think ahead, time-manage your day and movements, and be self-driven.
* Display a flexible work approach, including evening and weekend work.
Desirable:
* Previous experience working in the hospitality sector
* Have previously worked in a Bar Person position in the Hospitality sector
* Have previously worked in a Concierge position in the Hospitality sector
