Role: School Finance Administrator Location: Sutton Contract Type: Full Time - 40 hours per week Start Date: Salary: £15-16 As the School Finance Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and efficiency of the school. You will work closely with the finance team to manage day-to-day financial operations and provide essential support in the smooth running of the school's financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the school budget. Reconcile bank statements and financial records. Maintain accurate financial spreadsheets and databases. Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports. Manage school fee payments and liaise with parents regarding outstanding balances. Provide administrative support for financial audits and other compliance requirements. Handle payroll processing and staff expense claims. Maintain financial records in accordance with school policies and statutory regulations.The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience in finance administration, ideally within an educational setting. Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy. Be proficient in financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Be able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to deadlines. Have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
