Mechanical Craft Engineer
About the role
We have a brand new opportunity at our Kemsley Paper Mill for a Mechanical Craft Engineer to join us and contribute to a high-performing team. As part of the Engineering Craft team, you’ll work on a diverse range of engineering maintenance and project activities, maintaining high safety standards at all times.
In this role, you’ll support our preventative maintenance strategy, undertaking work of a predictive nature in compliance with engineering standards and procedures. You’ll be using your knowledge and experience to repair and replace components, and collaborating with the team to ensure we’re better able to predict and deal with any unexpected issues.
We’ll also ask you to monitor performance and effectiveness of assets to identify areas for continuous improvement. By continually developing an environment that promotes constructive involvement and engagement in the Engineering team, we believe that the right candidate in this position will help us deliver a world-class service in a fast-paced environment so that we can continue to delight our customers and grow our business.
About you
1. Significant mechanical engineering experience
2. Understanding of E&I
3. Experience in manufacturing industry
4. Flexible in your approach to problems
5. Ability to work well alongside your team
6. Driven and self-motivated, always looking for improvements in the way we do things
7. Accountable and wanting to take full ownership over your area of expertise
