PCN Admin Support

Job Summary:
Maltby Wickersley PCN is a developing Primary Care Network who are passionate about working collectively and holistically to create better health outcomes for the local population. The PCN has a patient population of circa 36,000 across 5 GP practices.

We are currently looking to expand our team by employing a temporary PCN admin support assistant who will report directly into the PCN Manager and Operations and Finance Co-ordinator but also work alongside embedded practice and PCN staff.
This is a new role within the evolving Primary Care Network of Maltby & Wickersley. The post holder will offer administrative support to the PCN team and will be a key point of contact for staff, member practices and will be able to signpost queries to relevant individuals as appropriate. The post holder will provide support in monitoring and reviewing the progress of activity undertaken by the PCN. Data collection and analysis is a predominant part of the role and attention to detail is paramount.
Daily processing and tracking invoices will build part of the role along with note taking at meetings and following up on outstanding actions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide direct administration support to the PCN Team, including organising meetings, electronic filing, note and activity tracking and other administration tasks.
* Ensure an adequate record of meetings is taken and circulated on a timely basis, ensuring key agreements and actions are logged and monitored for completion.
* Collect and analyse data in line with required KPI’s.
* Communicate with member practices to support co-ordination of rotas, room management and System 1 ledgers for ARRS staff.
* Support the PCN on ‘champion work’ including but not limited to Cancer Champion work and COVID vaccination delivery.
* Manage and appropriately distribute communications via an NHS email account.
* Answer queries and questions in a timely fashion, signposting as required.
* Support daily management of the PCN System 1 hub.
* Carry out timely and accurate information analysis and reporting on agreed areas and present findings. This will include running reports in individual practices clinical systems to present measurement of performance against targets.
* Maintain all administrative and information resources in keeping with local and national guidance.
* Maintain positive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Participate in relevant internal and external working groups and initiatives to provide information to inform the development and delivery of the PCNs strategic objectives.
* Be capable of working autonomously.
* Ensure effective communication is maintained within the Network.
* Work as an effective team member, demonstrate good personal communication skills and actively promote excellent team and interdisciplinary relationships.
* Take responsibility for own development, learning and performance and demonstrate skills within the scope of the role.
* To promote and share best practice with colleagues across the PCN.
As this is a newly established role the duties and responsibilities will be evolving and therefore the post holder will need to be able to adapt to the needs of the PCN.
