A Corporate Immigration Partner is required to join a thriving team within Oury Clark, a unique and dynamic professional firm that combines the disciplines of law and accountancy.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a busy immigration team, expanding into complex areas of UK immigration law, and providing expert advice to private and corporate clients on all aspects of the UK immigration and nationality law.
Salary: We offer a competitive salary in excess of £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits including private healthcare, recruitment commission, life insurance, contributory pension scheme, cycle to work, and charitable giving scheme.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop the Immigration department, including mentoring and leading more junior lawyers, and developing the department's service offering.
* Provide accurate and practical advice to clients on all aspects of the UK immigration and nationality law, with a focus on advising private and corporate clients on the operation of the Points Based System and UK visas.
* Assist with preparing applications, including drafting Sponsor Licence applications, Certificates of Sponsorship, Entry Clearance applications, and Further Leave to Remain applications.
* Liaise with UKVI and other government bodies, keeping clients informed of the progress of their application.
* Keep up to date on changes to UKVI policies and procedures, and cascade knowledge as appropriate.
* Manage clients effectively, maintain relations, and have a breadth of knowledge and experience in complex immigration matters.
