CCF, part of Travis Perkins plc, is the leading nationwide distributor of insulation and interior building products and solutions to the construction industry, supplying drywall, ceilings, flooring, and fire protection to building specialists, contractors, and builders through a network of over 35 branches. We're now recruiting for a Key Account Director to cover our London and East One region.
The Role
To manage and develop a predetermined list of key accounts for CCF focusing on delivering a consistent service and contact strategy. The role will also focus heavily on improving the share of wallet in all accounts to encourage growth of profitable sales. The role also requires the ability to influence all stakeholders to ensure that all centrally agreed strategies are supported and implemented effectively. Accounts will typically be £25m to £40m customer turnover and £4m to £6m of trading profit.
Key Accountabilities
* To develop and grow profitable sales to key account customers.
* To ensure that measured performance and service measures are communicated regularly and effectively to the business.
* To achieve sales and profit targets for identified products or product ranges as well as customers or customer types.
* To promote CCF’s Customer Value Proposition and Group/Brand opportunities to the identified customer base.
* To investigate/research additional product and market opportunities.
* To work in conjunction with the Commercial Team and Inventory on product and stocking matters.
* Active collaboration with all of our National Sales Team functions (Frameworks/Insulation/Technical) to support the proactive growth of their managed accounts.
* Through consistent planning, make the most effective use of time as a resource to achieve set targets and objectives.
* To assist the Regional Sales Director on any business development activities as and when required.
* To follow and engage colleagues in delivering an industry-leading Stay Safe culture.

You will have worked in a similar role before, preferably in the construction and building materials market. You may have been (or are) an experienced Account Manager or Sales Manager looking for the next step in your career.
