Your role and responsibilities We are currently recruiting for a Patient Care Assistant Team Leader to join our experienced, friendly team. This is a full-time position (working 35h per week) that requires a dedicated PCA with leadership capabilities to support our fantastic team of nursing associates. Although a clinical bias role, this position forms an important part of the Nurse Management team, working closely with our Nurse Managers and Supervisors. Whilst maintaining clinical PCA responsibilities on a regular rotation, y ou will be the point of contact for all the team members. However solely responsible for the direct line management of your own team of associates. In t his role you will lead by example, practice excellent communication, and engage all associates in a professional collaborative environment, ensuring practice policies and group policie s are always adhered to whilst providing outstanding patient and client care. The successful candidate would be someone who wishes to continue to work clinically at a referral level, as a passionate PCA but has a desire for, or looking to expand their skills, within people management and development. W ith a goal of supporting our associates to the best of their ability. You will be a highly visible, proactive, and accessible leader. Therefore, s ome experience in leading a team is desirable but not essential. T raining will be given.
