What you'll be doing:
1. Develop, carry out, and generalise safe, innovative, evidence-based treatments, underpinned by the principles of neuroplasticity and motor re-learning.
2. Plan and prioritise a complex clinical caseload.
3. Assist the MDT in diagnosis, problem formulation, and planning of rehabilitation programmes.
4. Function as a Key Worker/Named Therapist to ensure active coordination and management of the therapeutic programme to achieve the agreed rehabilitation goals.
5. Play a key role in planning safe discharges.
6. Prescribe and provide equipment for our patients during their rehabilitation journey.
7. Provide intervention as part of an MDT approach and be involved in MDT service developments.
8. Maintain records and clinical notes in line with company policy and RCOT guidelines.
9. Ensure effective and timely communication at all levels (with patients, families, the MDT, and external agencies).
10. Contribute to the in-service education and training programme for the wider MDT.
11. Supervise junior staff including assistants and students.
12. Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights.
