What You’ll Be Doing:
* Drive Financial Control: Manage project setup, cost allocation, and reconciliations, ensuring corporate systems reflect the project's true financial picture.
* Forecast and Protect Project Budgets: Lead cost forecasting, monitor revenue and margins, and proactively manage aged debt to keep the project on track.
* Insightful Reporting: Prepare detailed, client-specific reports and provide key insights into financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
* Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with the Project Manager and team, contributing to progress meetings and ensuring financial alignment with the project plan.
* Monitor Project Health: Perform earned value analysis, manage risks, and contribute to continuous improvement throughout the project's lifecycle.
What You’ll Need:
* Expertise in Cost Management Systems: Proficiency with tools like Oracle or equivalent, ensuring precise financial control across all project stages.
* Project Lifecycle Mastery: Extensive experience managing projects from initiation through to close-out, with a solid understanding of NEC Projects.
* Strong Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office, with the ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and manage financial information.
* Relevant Qualifications: An HNC or equivalent in engineering, construction, or project management, laying the foundation for your technical expertise.
* Effective Communication: Clear, concise reporting and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and clients seamlessly.
