Job summary Ward Sister or Charge Nurse, Band 6 (23 hours a week) As a ward sister or charge nurse you would be responsible in managing and leading the nursing team as a key member of the multidisciplinary team. You will deliver, coordinate and supervise patient care, ensuring that the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care is of high standard, encompassing the Trust vison of "best care for everyone". You will be visible within the clinical area, role modelling evidence-based practices and high standards of patient care, communication and organisation for others to follow. Main duties of the job This is a fixed term Band 6 post as a ward sister or charge nurse on the Head and Neck inpatient ward.
