Senior Recreation Assistant - Full Time - King Alfred Leisure Centre
In the role as a Senior Recreation Assistant, you will be key to supporting all of our objectives. This will start with ensuring our centres are a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for all of our customers.
A full training programme will be provided, and for those that want to go further, we will work with you to develop a career path with us.
Hours: 37 hours a week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)
Requirements:
* An ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff.
* Well developed interpersonal skills.
* Team oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues.
* To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers.
* Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.
* Flexible and adaptable.
* Willingness to progress to a cover Duty Manager/Key holder.
* NPLQ qualification or equivalent - training can be provided for suitable candidates.
* DBS check.
