We are working with a large, award-winning building contractor based in the Bristol area to recruit a Document Controller to join their highly respected team. This contractor is a market leader in the construction industry, delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain project documentation in line with company procedures.

Ensure all documentation is correctly stored, filed, and easily accessible to the project team.

Assist with setting up document control systems for new projects.
*
Distribute documents to internal teams and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
*
Liaise with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth document flow.
*
Ensure version control is maintained across all documents and drawings.
*
Support the project team with general administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
*
Previous experience in a similar Document Controller role, preferably within the construction industry.
*
Alternatively, strong administration experience with a desire to train and develop into a Document Controller role.
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
*
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
*
Proficiency in document control systems and Microsoft Office packages.
