Construction Project Manager (Build, Workplace, Fit out), Newcastle, £350 - £375 per day (Inside IR35), 12-month contract, site based.
Great opportunity for a hands-on construction/workplace project manager to join an established construction project team on a workplace programme for a global client with a large site in Newcastle.
This role is focused on delivering numerous new commercial construction and occupier fit out projects overseeing capital improvement, asset preservation and delivery of said projects from start to finish. You will need prior experience in project management across construction, architecture and MEPH services and be confident operating to tight deadlines for commercial fit out.
You will be responsible for:
1. Managing the programming and scheduling of work activities throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
2. Cost management.
3. Contract administration.
4. Health & safety.
Ideally MRICS qualified but this is not essential. Overall, you will need to be able to hit the ground running with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Prior experience in working in a client-facing role is helpful or understanding the ways of working.
