About the Role:
I am working with a SEN school based in Pontefract who are looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to join them as soon as possible. The successful Behaviour Mentor will be responsible for delivering 1:1, paired, and small group support to students with challenging behaviour. The school is looking for an individual who can maintain a physically safe environment whilst following risk assessments as appropriate. The focus for the successful Behaviour Mentor will be to act as a positive role model for the students across the entire school.
About the School:
This SEN school caters for young people aged between 7-16 who have social, emotional, and mental health needs and an education, health, and care plan. The school caters for 100 students, many of whom have experienced disruption in their lives from an early age and therefore require additional support and a specialist setting to meet their educational needs.
