What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
Clearing backlog on Accounts Receivable;
Processing invoice returns and resolving discrepancies;
Managing high volumes of Sales Ledger transactions;
Verifying and checking data for accuracy and completeness;
Ensuring system records are accurate and up to date;
Raising and issuing customer invoices;
Updating and maintaining client account details;
Coding and processing Accounts Payable invoices;
Preparing weekly creditor reports and setting up payments;
Performing statement reconciliations;
Supporting credit control, including outbound calls to chase payments;
Reconciling sales to remittance advice.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
Strong working knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs;
Experience with Xero
