Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a well-respected primary school in Southwark Support the SENCO in overseeing the identification, assessment, and support of pupils with SEND Work with teachers and support staff to implement effective SEN strategies and interventions Assist in coordinating EHCPs, one-to-one support, and targeted learning programmes Provide guidance and training to staff on best practices for supporting students with SEND Collaborate with parents, external professionals, and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student development Monitor student progress, ensuring individual learning plans are effectively delivered Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEND, ideally in a primary setting Strong understanding of SEN policies, EHCP processes, and intervention strategies Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting students and staff National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
