Maths Teacher (SEN)
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Maths Teacher for an SEMH School in Urmston, Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible maths lessons, tailored to meet the diverse needs of their students.
The school caters for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, who have been removed from mainstream education. Some of the students display behavioural challenges, have come from challenging home lives, or show trauma informed behaviours.
You will be required to deliver Maths lessons, up to GCSE level.

* Location: Urmston
* Position: Maths Teacher
* Contract type: Temp to Perm
* Full time/part time: Full time
Rate of pay: To Scale
Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, plus parents evenings
Experience, Training And Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with students with special educational needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education.
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK.
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last 2 years.
